My daughter fell in love with Theodore after seeing the movie. This Beanie is a cute, realistic version of the actual cartoon character…and a good size. Delivery was fast, and in time for Valentine’s Day. This Theo doesn’t talk but his resemblance to the real Theo makes up for size and vocal ability and has won the heart his recipient.

This Ty Beanie Baby is well done and very soft and practical. I got all three chimpmunks for my son. A must have for Alvin and the chimpmunks fan!

Theodore is very cute! My daughter said he wasn’t as chubby as he looks in the movie. She wanted him chubbier.

Well, I finally got the last TY beanie I needed for my Chipmunk collection, little Theodore (until a Jeanette and an Eleanor come out, and they had better!!!). It wasn’t easy, either. I have never seen these in stores anywhere, which meant I had to get them online, and for some reason, Theodore is a fan favorite and his price keeps going up! I expected that from Brittany, not Theodore! Well, anyway, so happy to finally have him, and he is definitely one of the better looking toys in this over all very nice Chipmunk beanie line. These Ty beanies are much closer to the actual size of the Chipmunks in the live-action/CGI films than other toys I’ve seen, which is one of the reasons I was so interested in getting them. They’re still a bit short, but pretty close (possibly more accurate to actual chipmunk size? I really don’t know though). They all look good, and I am giving them the full five stars because I do love them, but they could still have been better. They’re big enough to satisfy me without being too big, like a plush probably would be, and they have nice detail. However, they could have better detail. Most specifically, they could have the darker areas of their fur that form stripes, some of which (in the film) imply eyebrows. Their tails in the film versions are longer than these Ty incarnations too, but that’s no biggie. Theodore’s might work out the best. He looks great with his appropriately shorter, chubbier design and green hoodie. For movie and general Chipmunk fans, these are wonderful display pieces (I remove the TY tag, myself, because I want them to look like Chipmunks, not toys), and I think they’d be great playthings too. Highly recommended for fans of these legendary, “major rock stars”!
